The study programme is designed as a general one, covering topics pertaining to the entire legal profession and the ways in which the public administration, the judiciary, other public institutions and commercial entities operate. UALS curriculum is compatible with that of the Serbian Bar Exam and other expert exams pertaining to the legal profession, providing for acquisition of necessary theoretical knowledge, legal reasoning and applied law skills required for passing such exams.
The LLM studies will offer students state-of-the-art professional and theoretical knowledge thanks to which they will be able to deal with the most complex legal situations, a skill of great asset to all legal professions, especially lawyers who aspire to become leaders in the administration, judiciary, other organizations or legal services in the business sector, as well as in other legal professions, such as that of a notary public, public enforcement officers, solo practicing lawyers and attorneys, etc.
Masters study programme in English language entitled Contemporary Legal Studies (CLS). This study programme is an extension of a four years long undergraduate academic studies programme providing students with an direct access to their masters studies. The CLS lasts for a year (two semesters), with a total score of 60 ECTS and implemented exclusively in English. The programme includes subjects from various branches of law and legal disciplines, focusing on studying their contemporary application challenges.
The Union University School of Law (UUSL) in Belgrade organizes and delivers a doctoral academic studies programme entitled Doctoral Academic Studies in Law Programme (SJD/PhD) of 180 ECTS lasting three academic years (six semesters) and completing lawyers’ education process.
