Professor Mila Petrović lecture at the Department of Juridicial Sciences of in Rome

Assistant professor Mila Petrović gave a lecture on October 19 at the Department of Juridicial Sciences of Sapienza University of Rome, at an event dedicated to the challenges that the expansion of the fragmentation of labor law creates for the safety and health at work of workers engaged or employed in some of the new forms of work.

The event under the title of “Recent regulatory trends of HSE and the Workers’ Statutes: The impact of National Legislations on the New Forms of Work” was organized by the Department of Juridicial Sciences of Sapienza University of Rome in cooperation with ELLYS (European Labour Law Young Scholars), and within the courses of Comparative and European Labour Law and International and European Union Law on Health and Safety at Work.

The task of assistant professor Mila Petrović was to explain the formal and practical aspects of the problematics of occupational safety and health at work (OSH) in the Republic of Serbia to the students of master’s and doctoral studies and to, together with colleagues from Ljubljana, Gdańsk and Rome, try to discover solutions to some of the common challenges in this area, caused by the trend of fragmentation of labour law.
